Ajeemama – 4th January
Ajeemama brought the roof down with their blend of gritty guitar riffs with harmonic vocals infused with a classical Indian touch. Founded in 2019, Ajeemama quickly amassed a loyal fan following with their “Dank Covers” series that fused pop and Bollywood songs with a distinctive heavy metal touch. Since then they’ve surprised listeners with every new release, through clever songwriting, sweet vocal lines, catchy (dank) riffs and groovy rhythms. Their music will give you the surprise boost that you didn’t know you needed.
Zed-Axis – 11th January
Zed Axis hit The Raft with a high-energy blend of grunge and alternative rock. Known for their covers of hits as well as deep cuts from grunge/post-grunge/alt-rock from bands such as Collective Soul, Rage Against The Machine, AIC, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden, they played an absolutely electrifying show on 11th January.
Giddy Hoo & 12th Main – 18th January
Giddy Hoo is a powerhouse quartet that delivers chaotic symphonies with an unmistakable edge. Fueled by screaming high vocals, soaring guitar solos, intricate keyboard riffs, groovy basslines, and thunderous drums, the band unites two sets of brothers—one from the vibrant heart of Kerala and the other from the rock capital of India. With a sound like no other, Giddy Hoo is all about being fresh, groovy and an embodiment of the lesser known sound of the 70s.
12th Main is an Indian Experimental Rock band based out of Namma Bengaluru. The 6 piece multilingual band covers tracks mostly inspired by various Ragas and treats them with an alternative approach. In a short span, the band has opened for artists/bands such as Agam (carnatic progressive rock band), Pragati (band by playback singer K.S. Harisankar) and has performed at multiple venues across Bengaluru.
